The Geneva auto show is my favourite car show.
This year the show wasn't as interesting as usual -
the economic crisis was apparent in almost all of the stands.

In this thread I'll post photos of a few of the show's main stars.

And what a better way than to start with one of Vinnie's relatives - the cute Fiat 500C

Personally? I wasn't very convinced with the roof mechanism, but the C is still a cool car.

Would take the regular hatch, red please...

And now, the McLaren Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss. WOW.

An amazing car, the pics don't do it justice.

Looks like a concept car, but a few lucky men and women may own one soon.

Alfa Romeo came to Geneva with the MiTo GTA concept. But the 1300 GTA was

much more interesting to be honest...

And here is the MiTo. Well, it's here somewhere, I just can't see it... :-)

Let's move on to the Renault Sport Megane, this time with 250 hp and a very aggressive look:

Nice!

Today, two wacky concept cars.

Staring with the Koenigsegg Quant, a four door saloon (If it can really be called that),

with a 512 bhp electric motor. Koenigsegg claims a 275 km\h top speed and a 500 km range - very impressive.

Looking forward to seeing this car in production, presumably in under three years.

Next up, the Lagonda, by Aston Martin.

It's always good to see a car mark making a comeback - especialy one with a rich heritage.

However, I can't really see the point in yet another huge SUV. And the design is, well, pretty ugly.

I hope the production model would be better looking than that!
